Snowflakes - Der neue Loop aus Fransengarn – The new loop of fringe yarn

Weitere Schneebilder gibt es heute leider nicht, da mir die Zeit für den Spaziergang fehlte.

Sozusagen als Ersatz gibt es dafür Bilder von dem neuen Loop, den ich heute verschenkt habe. Die Wolle, die ich für den Loop benutzt habe, erinnert mich an Schneeflocken, sodass ich den Loop kurzerhand Snowflakes getauft habe.
There are virtually as a substitute for pictures of the new loop, which I've now given away. The wool, which I used for the loop reminds me of snowflakes, so I named the Loop ado Snowflakes.

Weißer Loop aus dickem Fransengarn

Ich hatte wohl ein paar Maschen zu viel auf der Rundnadel, denn statt der geplanten 140 bis 150 cm hat der Loop jetzt ungefähr eine Gesamtlänge von knapp 240 cm. So kann 'meine' Australierin sich den Loop statt nur 2, glatt 4 Mal um den Hals wickeln. ;)

I probably had a few too many stitches on the circular needle, because instead of the planned 140 to 150 cm of the loop now has approximately an overall length of nearly 240 cm. This allows my Australian in the loop instead of only 2 times, 4 times smoothly wrapped around her neck. ;)

Glücklicherweise ist der Schal nur schmal und die Trägerin verschwindet nicht ganz dahinter. Immerhin friert sie diesen Winter bestimmt nicht mehr am Hals.
Fortunately, the scarf is only narrow. and the wearer does not disappear completely behind it. After all, she is cold this winter is no longer determined by the neck.

Hier ein paar nähere Daten zum Loop:

140 Maschen und 16 Reihen gestrickt mit Nadel Nr. 9 ergeben die Länge von ca. 240 cm bei 15 cm Breite.
Verstrickt habe ich 282g Plush von Patons. (96 % Acryl, 4 % Polyamid; LL: 60m/150g)

Das Garn ist sehr weich und kuschelig, aber ich bezweifle stark, dass ich wieder mit so dicken Nadeln stricke. Meine Hände verkrampften sich beim Stricken so sehr, dass ich extreme Schmerzen in den Handgelenken bekam. Da hält sich der Strickspaß doch sehr in Grenzen, aber was tut man nicht alles für Menschen, die man mag.
The yarn is very soft and cuddly, but I highly doubt that I knit again with such thick needles. My hands clenched in knitting so much that I had extreme pain in the wrists. Since the knitting fun still keeps very limited, but what is not done anything for people you like.

Neue Loops aus Fransengarn wird es nicht so schnell wieder geben.
New fringe yarn loops from there will not be so soon.
