Sie ist erst ein paar Tage her, meine Woll-Inventur, aber anstatt den vorhandenen Wollberg abzutragen, liegt schon wieder neue Wolle hier.
She is only a few days ago, my wool inventory, but instead pay off the existing Wollberg, is already new wool here.
Es bereitet mir keinerlei Probleme an Schuhen, Taschen oder anderen Bekleidungsstücken vorbei zu gehen, obwohl das, zumindest den Medien nach, bei den meisten Frauen gegenteilig ist.
It gives me no problems for shoes, bags or other items of clothing to go over, even though, at least by the media, with most women is the opposite.
Die Frage, ob das daran liegt, dass ich mein Geld nicht aus dem Fenster schmeißen will und nur wirklich Notwendiges kaufe, keine „normale“ Frau bin oder schlicht am Nichtvorhandensein monetären Reichtums, lasse ich jetzt gemeinerweise einfach offen.
The question whether this is because I do not want to throw my money out the window and buy only necessary, not a "normal" woman, or simply the absence of am-monetary wealth, I leave you now just as common open.
Bei Taschen und Schuhen fällt mir das wirklich leicht, bei schöner Wolle, ausgefallener Deko oder Bastelzubehör komme ich jedoch sehr schnell in Versuchung. Kommt dann noch hinzu, dass man einen lieben Menschen überraschen will und findet das gesuchte Material online, hat man bzw. ich schneller bestellt, als gedacht.
With bags and shoes, I find it really easy with beautiful wool, fancy decoration or craft supplies, but I get very quickly into temptation. If one adds that it wants to surprise a loved one and find the requested material online, I ordered faster than I thought.
Gestern schleppte der Postbote ein Riesenpaket die Treppen hinauf, in dem auch ein paar Knäuel Wolle Platz gefunden hatten. Was außer der Wolle noch alles seinen Weg zu mir gefunden hat, wird nicht verraten. Nicht heute!
Yesterday the postman dragged a huge package up the stairs, where a few balls of wool had found space. What has not found anything except wool its way to me, is not betrayed. Not today!

Zu meinem Winteroutfit, was für ein herrlich hochtrabendes Wort für meine Jacke, gehört seit ein paar Jahren ein orangefarbener Schal aus Brazilia. Eine Freundin von mir bekommt immer diesen begehrlichen Blick, wenn sie das Teil sieht und so habe ich mich entschlossen, ihr einen Loop aus einem ähnlichen, aber preiswerteren Fransengarn zu stricken.
To my winter outfit, what a wonderfully pretentious word for my jacket, belongs for a few years is an orange scarf in Brazilia. A friend of mine always gets these covetous eyes when she looks the part and so I've decided to knit her a loop from a similar but less expensive fringe yarn.
Fündig wurde ich bei VBS . Der zarte Farbmix der Wolle ist für ihren Typ besser geeignet, das orange wäre ein zu harter Kontrast zu ihrem Teint.
I found what was at VBS. The delicate mix of colors of the wool is better suited for their type, the orange would be a too hard contrast to her complexion.
Die Fransen des Garns sind noch länger als die von der Brazilia, wie man auf den Bildern vielleicht erkennen kann, doch mit einer 6er Nadel wird der Loop relativ schnell fertig sein.
Damit von der Wolle kein Rest bleibt, stricke ich nicht rund, sondern in der Länge, um dann die Enden zusammenzunähen.
The fringes of the yarn are even longer than that of the Brazilia, as you can see from the pictures, perhaps, but with a 6 needle, the loop will be completed relatively quickly. This leaves no residue on the wool, I knit not round, but in length, then sew to the ends.

Zugegeben, besonders kreativ ist das nicht gerade, aber zu mehr reicht meine Energie zurzeit nicht, und anstatt nur Fernsehen zu konsumieren, verbringt man diese Zeit wenigstens produktiv.
Granted, this is not just very creative, but more as my energy is not currently, and rather than just consume television, this time you spend at least productive.
