Nicht, dass jetzt jeder glaubt, dass ich gar nichts tue, nur weil hier nicht viel geschieht. Derzeit arbeite ich an mindestens 3 total unterschiedlichen Texten, habe zwei Häkelarbeiten angefangen und die gegensätzlichsten Projekte entweder nur angedacht im Kopf oder schon in konkreter Planung. Alle diese Dinge benötigen Zeit, um zu wachsen, ich mag keine halben Sachen.
Not that everyone now believes that I'm doing nothing, just because here is not much happens. Currently I am working on at least three totally different texts, two crochet started, and the contradictory projects either planned in my head or already being planned. All these things need time to grow. I do not like do things by halves.
Um allzu lange Bloglücken zu vermeiden, und der Vielseitigkeit halber, stelle ich Euch diesmal eines meiner älteren Projekte vor.
In order to avoid excessively long gaps in blogging, and the variety's sake, I ask you one time in front of my older projects.
Die soziale Einrichtung, in der ich zeitweise anzutreffen bin, liegt im Erdgeschoss eines Altbaus und verfügt über große helle Räume mit hohen Decken. Weiße Wände wirken einerseits sehr großzügig, sodass der große Nussbaumtisch im Gruppenraum gut zur Geltung kommt, andererseits vermittelte die in der Anfangszeit fehlende Dekoration den Eindruck von Kälte. Von Gemütlichkeit konnte man höchstens träumen. Ein paar Farbkleckse konnten also nicht schaden.

Trotzdem ist die „Designer-Lampe“ mehr aus Zufall, denn aus Absicht entstanden. In einer der Ecken stand ein Deckenfluter, der dank eines schwedischen Möbelhauses Einzug in viele Wohnzimmer gefunden hat, neben den ich eines Tages ein paar riesige orange Deko-Rosen stellte. Die Rosen hatte ich zu Hause ausgemustert und aus Mangel an Weiterverwendungsmöglichkeiten (was für ein Wortmonster) dort geparkt.

Schließlich warf jemand den Gedanken in die Runde, die Rosen irgendwie „mit Draht oder so“ an besagten Deckenfluter anzubinden. Die meisten Anwesenden fanden die Idee perfekt, denn wen stört schon ein sichtbarer hässlicher Draht oder die Tatsache, dass es einfach dämlich aussieht, wenn sich sämtliche Rosen auf einer Höhe der Lampe befinden und somit von Ästhetik keine Rede mehr sein kann?
Finally, someone threw the idea into the lap, the roses in some way "with wire or something," to bind to said ceiling floodlights. Most of those present found the perfect idea, because who cares even a visible unsightly wire or the fact that it just looks stupid when all the roses are at a height of the lamp and thus can be no question of aesthetics more?
Richtig geraten! Mich störte es. Also sann ich auf eine praktikable Lösung, die mit wenigen zusätzlichen Mitteln und Kosten umzusetzen war. Diese war schnell gefunden und wurde von mir mit grünem Bast und Blumendraht, wegen der Haltbarkeit, auch verwirklicht.
You guessed it! It bothered me. So I thought of a workable solution that was with a few additional resources and costs to implement. This was quickly found and realized I was with green raffia and floral wire, because of its durability, too.
Das Umwickeln der Fluterstange erwies sich als zeitaufwendiger als gedacht, aber wer nicht will, dass die Stangenfarbe weiterhin sichtbar ist, muss eben wickeln. Das hatte ich mir ganz alleine eingebrockt. Nur durch das umwickeln mit Bast und dem Festdrahten der schweren Deko-Rosen mit farblich passendem Draht, konnte ein harmonischer Gesamteindruck entstehen.
The wrapping of the floodlight pole proved to be time-consuming than expected, but who does not want the color bar is still visible, just wrap. I had me into her own. Only through the wrap with raffia and the hard wires of heavy decorative roses with matching wire could create a harmonious overall appearance.
Die Mühe hat sich meiner Ansicht nach gelohnt. Die Raumecke hat einen außergewöhnlichen Hingucker erhalten. Ein Unikat, dass man nirgends kaufen kann!
I believe his efforts have paid off after. The corner has received an extraordinary eye-catcher. A unique, that you can buy nowhere!

P.S. Leider habe ich kein Vorher-Foto. Wer wissen möchte, wie die
Lampe ohne Deko aussieht, schaut mal bei Ikea nach "Not", die dürfte es
sein.
